I heard there's some stuff I should do after installing Windows 10. I'm coming from Windows 7. Anyway, beyond installing the usual apps... what should I do after installing Windows 10? I heard there's some tracking stuff and so forth.

I'm formatting because I just bought a 980 Ti. (My 7970 is totally fried (although I don't doubt it partially being bad drivers too...) and I am going to RMA it)

Next week I'm getting that new 27" 165hz g-sync monitor. Should be great!

I'm pretty sure there's a place called Operating Systems where Windows 10 is discussed extensively. There are even threads devoted just to Win 10 installs and upgrades and tracking stuff and possible problems associated with it all.

Format the drive and install Windows XP.

And before anyone calls me a troll for my first post here - OP put this thread in Off Topic first.

I know this may come as a shock to you TT, but there is an "Operating Systems" subforum.

Format the drive. Then you're done.

Actually just do a custom install and select what options you want. Not too difficult. Do more later if you feel the need to.
