yeah but listen. What you think about it. It dont crash when gaming.

It would only driver crash after a transition (from loading to the game or menu to the game) because the card was going from about 3% power draw to 90-100% and I think occasionally the voltage hadn't increased quick enough , therefore causing a crash.
It would only crash when coming out of the menus (ie when the card was downclocked load and sipping power and then going back into the game). Or just crashing display driver when alt tabbing.

.
So is this card issue or just driver?

Are you running stock settings on your card? Ok looks like you are from the OP. If you check the Nvidia forums several folks are having problems with TDR's in the last 2 or 3 months.

I had a card once that was promised a TDR fix month upon month, each new so-called fix never done anything. I put up with this for almost a year. I can tell you right now my 980ti doesn't do the TDR's you're talking about. And if it starts within my return period it will be going back. We pay good money for these cards and deserve a solid product, imo

(Note I don't have chrome installed)

Have you tried the new driver x3sphere linked? My Chrome TDRs have stopped since I installed them.

I, too, had my first crash in The Witcher 3 after 427 hours of gaming. I've written to Steam to request a refund of the purchase price for this broken game, and I've dismantled my entire system and sold it at a loss.

It's the only way to be sure.

Randomly when I alt-tab from Witcher3 and try to alt-tab back in my display drivers will crash briefly and the game will disconnect me.

Or randomly when i will just load game from menu ,when game world loaded it will crash display driver at first second. Then it will black screen and driver crash.
And then pop up: " 353.06 nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered"
During playing witcher3 i dont have any crashes. 0 crashes . I can play 24 hours without single crash.

Is this driver related or not?

Have.

You.

Tried.

The.

Updated.

Driver?

I don't think you were clear enough, lol. In the end, it is up to the OP, which is why I rarely repeat my recommendations in forums.

In the end, the OP is probably going to RMA his card, as he has done many, many times before. Not that he needs to, just predicting that is what he will do.

I actually almost never minimize full screen games anymore. Many years ago, I was playing a Star Wars game pretty heavily, which was based on OpenGL. That game killed the brightness of the desktop until you actually exited the game, so I got into a habit of just exiting the game when I wanted to do something else.

Last thing.
But also i have that kind of crashes too.

Usually after loading a savegame witcher 3 will crash DRIVER instantly ( when game world is loaded ). Then it will black screen and driver crash.
And then pop up: " 353.06 nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered"

So is this related to driver or my card? It happens sometimes after 1 second after i load a savegame and gameworld appear.

Somebody said:"this is purely an issue of overstressed vendor overclocked or faulty hardware."

So my 980 ti reference is faulty? I have on STOCK settings, no oc.

It crashing display driver sometimes after 1-2 seconds after i loaded game, never when playing. I can play 24 hours without single crash. Any ideas?

What you think about it?
Somebody said to me"
That's because when you first load into the game your gpu goes from 0% to 100% load so quickly it can't handle it. It causes it to become unstable. And it doesn't matter if your card is overclocked or not. It can still be unstable not overclocked if you were sent a dud graphics card. Dud's do happen time to time. I would RMA it if you can."

What you think about it, it can be really unstable card? I dont know what to do.

If youre still in the return period take it back or send it back for a refund. Then purchase a brand new card. I'm personally not a fan of RMA's

Most peoples saying that is driver issue, so i think i will stay with card. I can play 24 hours without crash. Sometimes it will crash driver if i am alt tabbing witcher 3 or just from loaded game at 1 second.

This is a troll who prowls various forums and repeats the same questions over and over without taking any advice.

Please nobody else respond

I discovered today , that if witcher3 crash display driver it will crash randomly only on 1177mhz at start. Clock at start is 1177mhz then is decreasing due to temperature to lower values ,like 1150mhz and then 1100mhz. And on 1177mhz witcher 3 simply randomly can crash display driver. ( for example : start of loaded game or back to game from windows alt tab ).

Please tell me , what you think about it? Thank you and i am greatful for any suggestions.

SO its driver issue?

No, it's a you issue. You're either not capable of understanding and acting upon the responses you are getting every time you start one of these threads, or you're deliberately trolling for attention.
