first SSD. worth it to do Z68's SSD caching also?

I just got my first SSD - 120 GB OCZ Solid 3. It will be my OS drive, but since I'm building a i5 2500K setup on the Intel Z68 platform (Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3), I am wondering if I partition 100GB as my OS drive and leave 20GB for SRT SSD Caching for my non SSD drives - will it be worth it?

If so, how would I go about doing it? Also I'm assuming first thing I have to do is to update the SSD's firmware. Are there any specific steps to follow with updating the SSD's firmware with win7?

Not very straight forward I'm afraid.
Google is your friend as how to go about doing it.
I've recently read somewhere on the net someone has been successful making it work.
As for SSD caching...I'm not sure 20gb is worth doing it anyway because its size.
I currently use an SSD 64gb for caching my gaming 1TB WD Black and I could not be happier.

I am not aware of the fact that intel SRT can use a partition. I think it requires standalone SSD?

Oh I just checked and you can.
If you are not planning to use all the 120GB SSD has to offer then I see no demerits.

yeah...That's the link...But it's a PITA if you ask me.
For all practical purposes. It ain't worth a dime to try, IMO.

I am resorting to fancycache at the moment. It does secondary SSD cache as well on top of RAM cache (with RAM so damn cheap nowadays a blessing), and more flexible (multiple drives or volumes, custom cache sizes). It's a beta software though and at the moment the caching on SSD is not persistent so performance won't be as good as SRT.
