I remember that very well. We lived in the Rockies for many years. In Wyoming, there were three seasons...July, August, and Winter...and you could count on measurable snowfall in any of them.
I don't miss the snow one bit.

I think we got 8" down south from ya, power lines broke near my work so I don't have to do mandatory overtime today :) I can go tomorrow and get payed 2x pay though.

I lived in Cheyenne for a bit. People would complain about the unrelenting wind. Then, in high Summer, the wind would die and everybody recalled that they were living in a refinery town and the wind didn't seem such a bad thing.
