Rent Aliens Versus Predator first. That's the last time I will ever see a movie after seeing an 8% rating at Rotten Tomatoes.

IGN is the most biased site in the world. they probably already have a review for Halo 3 typed up with perfect 10's accross the board, and same goes for GTA7 and DOA:VB 2.

that said, I'm still going to see it regardless.

I really liked the first Resident Evil movie, very cool. If it's better than that, i'll be happy. The second resident evil however just didn't cut it. I was expecting a much better movie.

Hey a FN p90 is a bad ass weapon. 50 round mag, practilly no recoil and the ammo makes kevelar useless(even with the plate armor insert)

But yea, it should be in the furture so he should be using something else

I'm going to go see it, but I'm not expecting anything good. They ruined it one way by going the virus route, instead of the true a-portal-from-hell-just-opened-and-we're-all-going-to-die route. Another thing I think is going to be bad is the first person perspective. The way they are implementing it, I don't think it's going to have any effect in a movie to enhance the scene. Keep the first person perspective to games.

That being said, the Rock is pretty awesome.

Walking Tall 2004 remake with The Rock was awesome. I have absolutely no desire to see this movie, and that is mostly due to them completely dissemenating the proper storyline.

Anyone who expects the Doom movie to be anywhere near a good film as you would normally define it needs to be smacked. Its Doom. It should have the following:

1.Hell breaks loose, demons, in short wicked baddies
2. Guns, big ones, and definitely the BFG, to enable shooting said baddies
3. Gore, lots of it. Make that lots and lots of it. Make it obscene amounts of it, the more gratuitous the better.
4. A bad@$$ dude who is gonna wade through it all when the $#!* hits the fan. Since its a movie, maybe they should give him some corny one liners.

Lets see, it seems to me it has them all check. The only problem is that the Rock isn't the lone gun marine. I guess it sounds like they did screw up the Hell breaking loose as well. Another virus? They should know better.

The only thing that they could possibly screw this movie up is if they try to make it more than it is. Don't try to come up with and explanation for anything. Just have a guy blowing everything in the movie away. There's a lot of films that try to be something more and end up just being a big action flick with a hero blowing everything away (Schwarzenegger films for instance). Thats all this movie should be, nothing more. Hopefully they realized this and didn't try to mold it into something coherent, as thats not Doom.
