pfft, we've already gone through maybe 20 thunderstorms so far this year.Originally posted by: Scouzer
Love it. Continuous lightning and thunder, the rain is pouring but no damaging hail. What a perfect storm!

Colorado does get some good rain in the spring, but this last month has been very heavy. The last couple of days are the first without rain I can remember since halfway through May. Some pretty heavy storms too. It hasn't been uncommon for the tornado sirens to be going off daily, good hail, strong winds, etc...
We had a very dry winter, and mother nature decided to make up for it in spades in May and June.

The last time I was in Colorado (middle school for SO nationals) the weather there was insane. We were coming back from Pikes Peak and the weather was nice and warm (around 70). Well, at one point on the way back the temperature dropped drastically and a blizzard came out of no where. Then, after that, a tornado watch/warning was issued. I've never witnessed anything like that in my life since.
London, Ontario has the most thunderstorms of any city in Canada: averaging 36 per year.Originally posted by: Scouzer
