And if you know what you're doing you can replace the cells in the batteries pretty cheaply. 🙂

I agree that cordless is better for many tasks, but the cost is astronomical when compared to a corded drill. It also doesn't have nearly as much torque and won't last nearly as long.

Edit >> Most people don't replace battery cells, they simply replace the batteries, which cost as much as most the corded drills themselves.

A corded drill is a must have, but I rarely use it unless I need the extra torque - it's so much easier to use the cordless.
