That was the cartoon. I get the feeling CC will be de-helmeted in this one, or why pick a known actor without a distinctive voice? We could tell agent smith was behind the V mask.

Yeah, see that's the difference. I was a Transformers nut when I was a kid, so I imagine I would be greatly disppointed with the movie.

It looks as if the same thing is going to happen with GI Joe. 🙁

I loved Transformers when I was a kid... I thought the Transformers movie was pretty much a perfect live action movie adaptation. Not perfect in that it faithfully reproduced the original series - there were changes made, but I think they were fine. Just watch it man... you may be disappointed, but you may be blown away.
 
What horrible costume design...they took the leftover uniforms from Street Fighter the movie, put them into the Matrix blender, and added a drop of X-men for good measure.

Granted, some of the G.I.Joe character uniforms were a bit absurd...but black spandex with armor bits is getting so cliche.

If you remember the original wave of G.I.Joe figures, they were all variations on a common theme...a base green uniform, with some sci-fi or modern accents to differentiate the characters.

Waves 2 and beyond is where things started getting a little absurd. I wasn't expecting there to be a Shipwreck character running around in a Navy costume with a talking Parrot...but still.

And the fact that they cast a Wayans brother only dooms this movie to failure.

Yes, nerds across the intertube universe have been slamming the costumes all day...one by one, each of the sites which revealed these pictures are now removing them at the bequest of Paramount.

Guess they don't want the world to know just how bad the suckage will be.
