to be honest, i have no interest in flowers whatsoever. But i found myself going through every one of those pictures.

Awesome work, man... they're beautiful

I got these today. They are European sawflies (Neodiprion sertifer) eating my mugo pine. That's a pine needle that they are sitting on. I used a green gel on one of my flashes to get the peridot effect.

How the heck did I miss this thread?

Maybe because I have been tired and passed out early this week 😛

Great job!
Badass work 😀

w00t! I really missed your threads. I'm still not used to catching your new name, heh.

Edit: sh!t, what the hell? I get page not found errors.. 🙁

I wouldn't put up with any bugs eating on my confiers either.

I still have my dwarf Mugo pine that I got when I was 13. It's not much bigger now than it was then.....

If you go to B+H and search for "Rosco Cinegel" and sort lowest prices first, you'll find a little swatchbook with dozens of different gels for a penny. They are the perfect size to fit over a 550EX flash head. Whenever I place an order I pick up a couple books. For a penny, you can't go wrong.

There are still some more I need to pick off. They always get on one side of my big mugo. They don't bother my dwarf one for some reason. The little ones are cool. They make little purple cones.
