I dislike the combo names: Billy Bob, Joe Bob, Billie Jo, Bobbi Jo, Peggy Sue, etc. Also unisex names: Pat, Chris, etc.

I don't like the name Hillary (or Hilary, as it is sometimes spelt.) This has nothing to do with the Ice Queen former First Lady. I just think the name is ugly and awkward for a woman's name. It might be OK for a man, but in the USA it is almost always a girl's name.

When I visited in England, I was surprised to find that a lot of names we think of as feminine are often used for men: Evelyn, Vivian, Beverly, Jocelyn, and many others.

Maybe that is why some Americans think Brits are a bunch of poofters. ;)

I don't like Edward, George, Duncan, Elroy, Cletus, .... can't think of all the others right now..
For females, I detest Olive, Olivia, Gabby, pretty much any name in common use around the turn of the 20th century.

My favorite names for girls:
Rebecca
Kathryn / Katherine / Katy / etc.
Natalie (happens to be my g/f's name :D)
Moon Unit (Frank Zappa has got one hell of an imagination)
