It's a Nissan FFS, it's begging to be tuned, as stock GT-R's get rocked pretty hard in runs from a roll by even a Z06. The AWD helps massively with getting a good launch, and the car's ridiculously good balance and handling mechanics add up to a great track car, but the rolling acceleration and 100+ performance are practically begging to be boosted.

I wouldn't touch it :) Modding a car like that must only be for racing purposes.

Go ahead and modify it. It's not like Nissan honors the warranty on it anyways...

Most of Nissan's philosopy is to modify their performance cars to suit.

It's pretty recent that their are so many fanbois out there driving totally stockers.

Could be. I wouldn't know.

Personally, I refuse to touch a heavily-tuned car with a ten-foot pole. If I wanted to spend big money on a sports car, I'd get a Lotus Evora, complete with normally-aspirated Toyota V6.

Do some searching on it. He's closed businesses in several states, has dozens of pissed off customers on his ass for incomplete work, non-returned (thus stolen) stock parts, and has had numerous legal proceedings against him. And yet the media continue to suck up every time he puts out a high HP car. Wow - a supercharged Camaro. Congrats - you can install a Magnacharger. Gimme a break.

How about Switzer? Never heard of them myself, but hey - 700HP and it actually seems to work.

The Switzer P800 Nissan GT-R makes over 700 HP at the wheels, nearly double that of the comparatively plain-Jane GT-R.

According to independent dynamometer tests, the GT-R produces 416 hp (310 kW) to 475 hp (354 kW) at the wheels

Hennesseey is a serious POS. I cannot believe that magazines like Motor Trend and Car and Driver still do write-ups on his car. WTF are they thinking??? They're giving free promotion to a guy who screws customers over and has several lawsuits against him for unfinished work and flat out stealing cars from people and never giving them back!!
