Since Im not in school right now, I need to start looking for a job. I've been looking some what but I thought I'd ask here to get some ideas as to where I should apply for. Im really not into working at a fastfood joint. Im 18 by the way.

This may sound silly, but just thought I'd get some ideas.

Assuming you have no useful skills then Home Depot or Lowes pays decent for general labor. You can check the paper for warehouse or assembly jobs. If your in a big city then go find a temp agency and fill out an application.

Or just get off your @ss and go to school, community college or something. Then go get a part time job making pizzas or whatever for spare change.

Im in Washington state.

In my mind I was thinking of places like compusa, bestbuy, etc.

Like I said before though, just trying to get more ideas.

Ideally, you'll want to get something that's at least remotely connected with what you'll want to be doing later in life. However, since it's just your first job, there's certainly no need to be too picky.
