Experts have repeatedly dismissed Antinori's claims and say they doubt he is capable of achieving a cloned pregnancy.

We will know in mid January. Problem will be how to tell if is a real clone and not just a normal 1+1 = 3 situation.
If the mother is going to make a bundle from the publicity, can she be trusted?

This is an awful, horrible thing. We are technically ready to do cloning on a human as people in the Dark Ages were to do advanced brain surgery. I am against most violence, but the physician who does this is doing it free from the burden of knowlege or ethics. He wants to be the first, and I hope if (when) horrible things happen to this poor person, they carve the living flesh from the doctors bones one pound at a time.

if cloning doesn't happen now it'll eventually happen for sure. some person somewhere will try it whether it's moral or not.
