<< All of the GF2 owners with some cash would of already upgraded to the GF3 so that rules them out >>

Actually I`m one of those that went for a GF2 Ti rather then GF3 since I was waiting for the GF4 (probably buy the GF4 Ti 4400 model),not everybody upgrades to every new model by Nvidia, some of us wait awhile ;).

The GF4 ti versions should do well, it's the MX versions which I don't think will do as well as Nvidia think they will. Nobody likes buying a crippled video card no matter how cheap it is, I learned from my gf2 mx mistake and I will NEVER purchase a crippled video card again! :(

The GF4 MX range is not really for the serious gamer that wants speed, they`re budget models for people that don`t game a lot or mind the slower speed of the MX range.

I guess Nvidia is trying to cater for all needs but some people will still think GF4 MX models mean top performance without the price of the higher models, they should know by now that if you want top performance you`ve to pay for it.

Lucky most gamers do their own research with reviews and benchmarks etc and know exactly what they want :).

I'm with you mem, but I never bought a Ti model of anything. I'm still here with my trusty Geforce 2 Ultra. The GF4 looks sweet. :D:D:D

I'd like to see benchmarks on a 1-1.2gig pc133 based system. I bet the benchmarks would be laughable.
These new generations of cards don't scale well, and unless you are running a top of the line processor and DDR/RDRAM, your better of with something you can run to it's fill-rate limit.

Like me :D

What really annoys me with all hardware review sites is that even when they review a budget video card they ALWAYS use the fastest cpu out? I know the reasons why they do that but it's unrealistic, if you can only afford a budget video card then your probably using a budget cpu as well.

I don't imagine there are many owners of a AMD Athlon XP 2000 (used in the Anandtech GF4 review) who will be using any of the cheapo Geforce4 MX video card is there, come on Anandtech (and all the rest too) lets see some benchmark's using budget cpu's for budget video cards! :|
