Actually, by the looks of things all I'm paying extra for is the case (which I'm not too bothered about), CPU cooler which I wont need atm and some fancy wiring and extra fan that Ill get for free from other website.

Think Ill go with the other build. Just want some more opinions on whether the 955 would bottleneck the 6870 and what resolution both those would play optimally at?

125W CPU + 150W GPU is 275W. That should cover most of the other parts. So as long as you don't jump into another tier in power usage (hard to do on the CPU but easy to do on the Vid card end) you should be fine. Even on the bad end of 80% efficient power supply its still only 330w. But you can see that its a bit tight. Put in a 275w-300w GPU and that PSU will be a nose.

Also I would comment that you should look an AMD chipset (800 series if possible). That way you at least have a fighting chance of getting BD to work in it like on of these http://event.asus.com/2011/mb/AM3_PLUS_Ready/ . Not a big fan of later Nvidia chipsets anyways.

Asked it before but now found money for a decent monitor. So what resolution would a ATI HD 6870 and a AMD Phenom II X4 955BE work best at?

Whats the alternative then? The problem is that dinopc doesn't offer any intel CPU's, no i5's.

I'm sure that there are plenty of custom pc builders in the UK that offer Intel CPUs. For example, Google turned up http://www.computerplanet.co.uk who offers a P67 machine (and they appear to be reputable). I was able to spec out a core i5 2300 + GTX 560 Ti machine for about 750 pounds. That's a much better deal IMHO.
