I gotta say, this car looks great inside and out IMO and it sounds like it is a blast to drive with the turbo 5. It's based on the Ford C1 platform that also underpins the Mazda3 and the next-gen Ford Focus.
Best of all, it's actually cheaper than the old S40! Cars like this and the TSX are creating a great new "sub-entry-level sport-luxury sedan" segment. 😛

Actually with the sport package, the car is absolutely stunning.
I posted about this car a little while ago and got no reply.

AWD with 6-speed stick next year 🙂

of course it's cheaper, it's based on an even cheaper non-volvo platform than the last S40.

blech! the last real volvo was the old 850/S70.

Problem I see is that the TSX is about $26,500 with just about every options.
The T5 is $27,500 and that doesn't even include leather.

The T5 is the 220hp model right? It is far more powerful, with a better powerband than the TSX.

Saw this car @ the Virgin Megastore...the interior is soo simple and poliished...and hte outside is good to look at also.
