LOL... that Nissan Titan popup ad startled me when it came crashing in...
Anyway... why are you disguised as NFS4 ?
Dodge engineers invited the press to try other tests while towing, such as side-stepping clutch at idle while parked uphill. The Ford and Chevy often coughed and died but the Dodge recovered with enough torque to pull up the hill under zero throttle

Sounds great, but can they equip it with a tranny that can handle it?

While he may be overly vocal about it, he speaks the truth.
I love Rams, but they can't seem to put a decent transmission in one to save their life.

There have never been any issues with the 6 speed. The auto is brand new and is untested as of yet.
the only thing Dodge has to market is power levels. Problem is in the Diesel world I can get a chip for the Duramax that add's 350lbs of torque by just pluging it in and picking out menu's any moron could do. The trick is the allison can handle it and blow past like it did in PT's hill tow competition when they put the big 3 aginst each other.

Comparing modified engines to stock ones is a good way to lose an argument.
Shrug, owned 3 new dodge trucks here, never had a tranny problem yet. On that note I had a Ford that chewed up 4 4R100's in 10k miles.

Actually saying stock vehicls are only valid because they are stock is an automatic loss. The point wasn't power levels, the point was how easy it is to make power, the second point in that is that it's not easy to make a transmission strong compared to the ease of adding engine power. I honestly don't see how you could have eaten up 4 4R100's in 10K miles inless you were pumping out over 800lbs of torque or towing 30,000lb trailors.
edit: Iamwiz made a good point about the emissions, I agree that is great diesels need to clean up abit. My arguement is not putting the Dmax vs the Cummins though, I like both, my point is it's too bad Dodge can't figure out a way to compliment that Cummins.
