first day back at work...still clearing out the cobwebs

Alright. First day back and I'm feeling a little slow. Have a HTPC running windows media center with a tv tuner and a Radeon 9700 AIW. Decided that it was pointless to have 2 tuners in the PC. Uninstalled the AIW drivers, shut the machine down, put in a GeForce 5600 (or something similar) and now the thing won't even post. Any help?

- tried the basic stuff (made sure the card was set, made sure the card was good)
- tried re-setting the CMOS by removing the battery on the mobo, tried pulling the card and using the mobo's video.

the onboard video won't even post? Does it post with the old card put back in?

Did you remember to remove the power cord before clearing cmos? (stupid question, but I have to ask)

not a stupid question since I'm pretty thick today. Haven't started a day this early in a long time. Gonna go pull the power and then try the CMOS again.
