it doesn t sound to me like a "date"... more like a sympathetic kind of a jesture. People always do dinner and a movie. If you want a chance, do something different. Go to a pottery class, painting lessons, some like of sport activity that you or her enjoy. ..... dinner and a movie is sooo lame

You know what? I took my girl to see "Devil's Advocate" on our first date. man I screw that one big time. Just do something special like hanging out at the ball park or something different from the ordinary.

Dude, you sound a lot like my friend at work. He asked this girl twice to be his gf and both time got shot down. He's still going out with her and trying. I think like someone here said that once you've landed in the friend zone there is no digging yourself out of that one. Do yourself a favor and just give up. :) That's my best advice for tonight.

I am 17 and money is not overflowing with money :( Besides if I sweep her off her feet so early she is going to have very high expectations haha.

Well yes I was thinking a movie would be a good idea but there is nothing good out right now is there? I watched Daredevil and that was the WORST MOVIE EVER.

lol @ high expectations....

then, take her to McDonalds and walk around the park for a few hours.

take her for Ice Cream then go for a walk. That way, if you don't have a good time you can leave and if you are having a good time you can talk as long as you want.

Anyways our topic landed on relationships somehow (perhaps she was trying to tell me something :p) and she made it pretty clear that she wasn't interested in starting one with anyone right now. Oh well, I've pretty much gotten over that though.

That's cool man.. thems the breaks.. Someone else (or her) will come along and/or change later on... sooner or later :)

it's all good.. sounds like you had a good time though, eh? good stuffs.
