Ehh, looks decent. I would go with 2 gig of ram though, that will help with the video and photo editing stuff. Good idea to get water cooling, you'll need it. My 3.4ghz p4 was throttling using the thermalright xp-120, I had to go to water just to keep it cool at stock speeds. And I would suggest getting a seagate over a maxtor hard drive, at least you'll get a better waranty and they are generaly more quiet, I just don't trust maxtor drives.

That case is amazing. When I was case buying, I figured I had about 300 dollars left in my budget and I'd splurge. It came down to either the Stacker or the V1000, two of the best cases in the world. I went with the customized V1000 for about 270 bucks cuz I wanted to try something different (upside down mobo), but I would've love to have gotten the Stacker. It's bigger too 🙂

The P180 is a nice case, but it costs about 130 bucks, which isn't that much cheaper than the Stacker.

Also I'll repeat what Stevty said, 2GB of ram for any apps that include Photoshop, Flash, or video editing. It's definately a must here.

Wow I've never seen an SATA optical drive before.
 
It's not that we are AMD fanboys it is just we know what is best. If he was doing something that he would benefit from an Intel then I would recommend an Intel, but this is not the case. AMD would be much better in this situation.

Geez, the write-up in that first link is tough to get through. A good example of how going overboard with search engine optimization can hurt a site. The phrase cheap computer part only appears 10 or so times on the page!!
 
Hey guys, let him get whatever case he likes, as long as its not offbrand. different people have different prefrences, though i would never spend that much on a case😀

For when you actually build the computer, use mechbagon's guide ( link can be found on his posts). Its awesome.
