The CAO is good, and the rest, well, maybe the Puros Indios...other than those, not too great. However, for the price, that's not bad now that I think about it. That CAO will probably run you 7 bucks, so it's really 8 bucks for 7 more cigars. Not too bad for a starter pack.

I'd recommend going into a tobacconist (a REAL tobacconist, not a cigarette shop) and asking for help. Cigars are extremely complex and without proper guidance you'll never really find your niche. For 15 dollars you can get 2 really good cigars, or maybe even 3 if you stretch it. Speak with the tobacconist and remember who they are. When you've smoked them, go back and tell them what you thought, what you liked, and didn't like. They'll suggest a few more, and you can keep repeating the process. Don't ever buy cigars from a small discount tobacco shop. You probably have 10 of them in your town, but you're wasting money. If you're not sure where to buy try www.milantobacco.com. Email them and ask them to suggest a few for beginners and take it from there. I've been buying from them for years and they know everything there is to know about the products they offer and will be happy to suggest cigars for you. Good luck!

Some good advice there cvstrat. But I would add that Cigars International (the site with the del in the original post) is one of those real tobacconsits you are referring to. They have a real store in PA, a knowledgable staff and a useful message board at their cigarbid.com site. Poke around their Cigar 101 section or even give them a call for advice. If you are new to cigars and don't know where to start, a local vendor is the best place to start but these guys are probably the best online alternative.

Now I realize the above might sound like an advertisement - I do not work for/with them, I have just been a highly satisfied customer for quite some time.
