It is dubbed in french...the dialogue is basically the lady saying too bond that he is too immature to be a 00 agent, and Bond says something like, "they all die young anyway."

I for one think it looks really neat, but then again I was one of the few who thought Craig was a good choice (loved Layer Cake).

Anyway, fans and haters alike, enjoy:

Personally I would have enjoyed a Heath ledger starred movie about James Bond when he first becomes 007. Show some of the training he would have had to go through etc. I guess the only draw back would be they would have to replace Q and M

He only did one good bond film IMO(Goldeneye). I am not incredibly upset over his loss. The Bond series just got too rediculous.

While I would have liked to see Clive Owen instead, he doesn't look bad as bond.

Well, it was definitely time for some new/younger blood. PB was good, but he's getting up there, and it felt like there wasn't that much physical action on his part in the last film. This looks like a lot more jumping, fighting, more of a Bourne kind of look to it, which is EXACTLY what the Bond films need to freshen them up.

From just the short clip though, can't really tell how he'll do, but fans have gone through some dramatic changes in Bond's appearance in the past, they'll survive this one as long as the movie performs.

Other than the fact that Daniel Craig is Bond, the other thing that bothers me is if this is supposed to be a prequal, why is Judi Dench M? M was originally a man, so shouldn't the prequal have M as a man?

I'm not trying to be sexist or anything, just bringing up a point.

Don't have to defend that statement :p...that's a completely logical argument. I hadn't heard it was a prequel, but if that's the case then who knows? Maybe it takes place before the last few, but after the first bunch. Certainly looks high-tech enough in it, what with x-rays of arms and stuff.

craig doesn't bother me too much as a bond - though he doesn't appear to have the charm of brosnan or connery. guess we'll have to find out through reviews how he actually does

Well, Casino Royale was the first Bond book. So it takes place before all of the other movies.

Saw a trailer on HDNet tonight.

I'm not sure if it's the same one, but, apparently, yes. Definitely seems to be a lot of complaining here about the new actor, but the trailer I saw looked decent.

Edit: the Sony link asks to install some software, which I refused (it IS Sony, ) but I think the new trailer (as seen on Nothing But Trailers) may be more than the teaser.
