I recentely just did my first build, I used the antec 1200 because of the space but choose the CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W power supply. The first problem I ran into is that I had to mount it upside down which puts all the cords on the wrong side and made things a little more difficult, I also had a tons of problems with cable management, the cords are bound together very nicely but are very thick, there is no way to really hide them behind the case. Also the 8 pin connect to the mother board is so short that I have to run it pretty much right over my graphic card, I can't run it behind the case either.

I am wondering if there is maye a better power supply to use for cable management, one that you can actually only plug in what you need to use? I am thinking about trying to switch it out with new egg.

I am using the asus pro z68 mother board antec 1200 case and the i5 2500k if that helps. As always thank you for all your help

I don't think changing power supplies is going to make a difference with the problems you've mentioned.
You can buy an "extension cable" for the 8-pin connector. I had to use one with my build. (fortunately, one came with my HAF 932 case)

So, from your comment:
The first problem I ran into is that I had to mount it upside down
I presume the case doesn't have a vent in the bottom of the case so the PSU can be mounted with the fan in the "DOWN" position?
That sucks...for me, that's one of the benefits of a bottom-mounted PSU, and allows the power supply to draw cooler air from outside of the case instead of the warm air inside the case.

It sounds like you bought a non-modular PSU and should have bought modular. Unfortunately, in your price range, you don't have a lot of options for a QUALITY modular PSU in the wattage you have.
(do you NEED 750 watts? Most people don't NEED anything more than 600 watts...and many will do just fine with 500 watts.)
