I just wanted to say thanks for all the help with selecting the parts for my new rig. It was my first build and I had a few problems but everything is going good now. After running a PII 400 for 2 years all I can say is WOW, this thing flies. Thanks again for all the good advice and support!!

Now you'll have at least 50% of your income "invested" on hardware until the day you die. The percentage will only increase, though.

I just got that same SCSI adapter, at Hypermicro, for $185, altho I haven't installed it yet .. still using the Tekram U2W.

 
Radboy, I haven't had any problems with it yet. Thanks for turning me on to Hypermicro, I got the card and harddrive there.
