First build, help!

Here's my specs:

DFI Ultra-D NF4
A64 3500+ winchester
Leadtek 6800 GT PCI Express
WD Raptor 74 GB
2X512 corsair ValueRAM

Ive got the motherboard secured in my Tsunami case with the video card, hard drive, processor hooked up as far as i can tell.

When I turn on my computer I get no signal to my monitor... The video card only has DVI outs so I have to use an AGP converter. But it has power, all the fans are running and lights are on, its just not giving off a signal.

edit: no beeping occurs when I power it on

Can someone help me out?

I'd say either the monitor or the converter are the problem.

I have 2 converters, I've tried them both. And the monitor is one ive used for years.

I had a similar problem to what you're facing now, and the hardware that turned out to be the culprit for me consisted of the memory modules. It turned out that my particular mobo only supported a certain configuration (32x8 or something of the like) that I was not able to meet. What I'd do is try some different memory in that system and see if it will then boot.

weird i just switched RAM slots and now its working... does that mean i have a faulty mobo?

Well, from my experience (which isn't too much ), there is usally a DIMM slot which is considered the single-channel mode. You may have stuck the RAM somewhere else which wasn't compatible with this mode? I don't know.
