It would be all kind of awesome, if:
- it had CUDA
- at least 8GB VRAM per GPU
- was not more than 1000
1. Why were you expecting CUDA (Nvidia closed proprietary platform) to be supported by AMD hardware?
2. A lot of professional applications do not require such large amounts of VRAM (granted, a lot do require large VRAM amounts).
3. It can run on FirePro drivers, therefore it's perfectly reasonable for AMD to command premium prices.
