First a bunch of BSOD's, now no POST

1) Cliff's Notes:
- First had some BSOD's (didn't see what registered as the problem)
- Computer screen went blank, now won't POST at all
- GPU works in a different PC, different RAM doesn't POST either
- Motherboard isn't beeping at all under any circumstance, GPU fan spins @ 100% constantly (indicating no POST)

2) Full Description:
My system had started giving me the BSOD in Vista 32-bit a few days ago, then when I returned from work yesterday I found that the system was powered on, but there was no display on the screen. I shut off the system and waited 20 seconds, then re-booted. No post.

My first thought was the RAM. I removed my 2x1 GB Crucial Ballistix and placed my 512MB stick of Kingston cheap-o RAM (that I keep just in case of post problems from picky mobo's) in a number of slots and still no post. No beeps from the motherboard or anything. My 8800gt's fan spins at 100% and never drops. I suspected the video card first because it had locked up unexpectedly in a few games a few days prior (after I connected it to two monitors at once). I took the video card to a friend's place and it works just fine in his PC.

I'm concerned about the RAM or Motherboard now. My motherboard is an Intel Bad Axe 2 (can't remember which BIOS I have loaded at the moment). A friend who bought 2GB of Crucial RAM wanted to try them in my rig a few weeks back to see if they worked. They did, and then when I went to switch my RAM back into the computer, it wouldn't post. My value RAM did post, as did my friend's Crucial RAM. I ended up RMAing my RAM and then gave it to the friend in return for his.

I suspected the RAM, but I can't get my motherboard to post with my value RAM either (maybe because it's currently OCed?). The motherboard doesn't beep when I start it with the RAM or video card removed.

The motherboard's light comes on indicating that it has power, but that's all I can get out of it. What do you guys think I should do now? RMA the motherboard perhaps? Any chance that it's my E6600 -- I had it overclocked to 3.2 Ghz @ 1.475v on the VCore. Did I burn it out? And if the CPU was the problem, would the motherboard beep at me?

My rig:
CPU: E6600
Mobo: Intel Bad Axe 2
CPU H/S: Tuniq Tower 120
RAM: 2x1 GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800
PSU: Seasonic S12 650w
Video: eVGA 8800GT SC

Thank you in advance for any help/advice.

Update: As soon as I got back home, I decided to pull the battery from the Bad Axe 2 and place the jumper in config position. After I replaced the battery (I gave it 10 mins to clear itself), my rig posted.

I've put the original RAM and 8800gt back in the rig and am typing this while Orthos Beta is running a stress test, no errors so far after 15 mins. So I'm fairly confident now that the RAM, motherboard, and CPU are not the cause of the BSOD's I was encountering.

Since they occurred shortly after I had hooked up a 2nd monitor to my 8800gt, I'm leaning towards suspecting that in the process of hooking up the 2nd monitor to my card, I mis-seated it in the PCI-Express slot (it's definitely not as stable in the slot as my previous double-slotted X1900XT) and that caused the BSOD... and then my motherboard did something to protect itself by locking up and needed to be rest.

Does that make any sense?
