Looks like that link is now Kaput! I am really interested in this because I am suffering constant drive corruption with my Maxtor DiamondMax 10 250 GB SATA drive. It is an NCQ drive but I have turned NCQ off and the corruption is still happening. I am about at my wits end with this. I have the 1006 BIOS right now but it happens still as it did with all previous BIOS versions. I used the standalone nVidia nForce 4 6.39 driver release. I have ASUS A8N SLI Dlx with AMD Athlon 64 3200 Winchester running at 230x10. I don't run RAID or anything like that. Just 1 SATA drive on the nVidia controller. Usually I am able to put in the Windows XP cd and do a repair when the corruption happens but last night it just totally wiped. I am going to have to reinstall Windows tonight. How do you go about getting a firmware upgrade from Maxtor?

Are you loading the nVidia IDE drivers from the 6.39 drivers? I have a MSI SLI board and a Diamodmax 10 250gb not in a RAID configuartion, but just SATA. I wasn't loading the IDE drivers (never liked them in previous versions). I had to reinstall twice because of data corruption. To get it to work, I finally allowed the 6.39 drivers to load the nVidia IDE's, then went into device manager and replaced the IDE drivers with the Standard window ones. XP will keep the nvidia IDE's for the SATA controller automatically, but will change the IDE controller to the standard ones. Then I checked the ADMA and Channel settings for the Maxtor to make sure they were set for SATA II and NCQ. Been over a week and haven't had to reinstall yet. Could just be coincidence, I'll do what works for me.
