Firmware for a NEC 3500A (dvd burner)

I just got a new 3500a for Xmas.

Heres my problem, ive been looking around and i cant seem to find a firmware that lets me burn over the registerd speed. (ex: my old nec 2500a had a firmware that let me burn my 4x princos at 8x)

So what im looking for is a firmware that was like my 2500as firmware.

So if anyone has a good one to sugest please feel free and thanks in advance

I don't have an answer to your question but I just have to say that I have had that NEC 3500a for a couple of months now and it has been flawless. Enjoy it 🙂

yah i know my 2500a is kick ass too.

but the 3500a is alot noisier then the 2500a 🙁
