Firewire drive enclosure question

Just bought an acomdata firewire drive enclosure and it does not have a fan nor does it have any provision to put one in. This kit is
identical to another acomdata enclosure I got from Compusa which does have a fan. The model# are identical as well, just missing the fan.

I'm planning to mount a 120g 7200 rpm drive in it and I'm concerned about the drive overheating. I'm new to firewire
and would greatly appreciate any advice.

Thanks

update? Any heating problems? Assuming the enclosure is made of metal, it acts as a giant heat sink. I don't have a lot of heat radiating from my 120 gigger, nor my twin 80s. I don't forsee this being a problem.

I have not mounted the drive yet so I can't really tell if there would be any heating problems. The case of made of metal sheet just like a computer case.
Do the enclosures on your 120 and 80 giggers have a fan ? Greatly appreciate your input and advice. I guess I can give this a try and mount the 120 gig
drive tomorrow. Thanks again.

I just got back from compusa bought that $99 120GB western digital. The only thing I saw was $69.99 for an external firewire case. Is there anything cheaper than that like $30-$40 anywhere.
