and now...
for "Helznicht" and all who know...
you wrote "It wont(pop-up) ask you if you want to allow access to do this or that. If you dont go in and set it right, you just wont get access!"

So, how do I give access to my software to the internet ?
I need to give the firewall the file (EXE) of the software, her IP or what ?
how do I do that and in the mnual write how to do that ?

Again, sorry about the bed English...

This is from a review about the dlink model:

Configuring this product is actually very simple with a little bit of knowledge. The gateway always resides at 192.168.0.1, and the entire gateway can be configured through a web browser. Simply type in the IP number in IE or Navigator and you are greeted by a D-Link screen that asks for the password for the gateway. Once the password is given, the user is then presented with several menu options for automatically configuring the gateway for whatever DSL or Cable service the user is connected to. It automatically configures itself to the external modem and the user is ready to be up and running on their network.

The user also has quite a few other options on how to configure this product, which should only be accessed by users with a proper amount of knowledge on how to open and close ports, how to configure a DMZ (De-Militarized Zone- basically leaves a computer outside of the firewall, which can be dangerous if a hacker knows where to look), or how to dynamically open and close ports depending on which ports are accessed by what program. The configuration of this product is simply stunning for a personal firewall, and the flexibility this offers for advanced users and administrators is quite impressive. It also gives the option of opening specific ports for specific computers (such as opening an FTP port for a computer providing FTP services to the web) while limiting access to others computers on the network. The gateway also has quite a few of the more common port settings stored (such as multiplayer gaming, communications, etc.).

All should be set up pretty similar, but you are going to have to do some research on the specific model, and then learn the proper way to set one up.
