Hello

I was looking for a good firewall, i "accidentally" posted my query on the highly technical section, the post has been locked now.

i got the response that "kerio personal firewall ver 2.1.5 " is a good firewall

i had downloaded zonealarm's free version some time back, what do you think of it?

or should i go for a suite
i came across an article in a computer magazine where thy were comparing fivesuites, should i go for a suite?

the five suites being compared were
F-Secure Internet Security 2005
McAfee Internet Security Suite 2005
Norton INternet Security 2005 AntiSpyware Edition
Panda Platinum Internet Security 2005ZoneAlaram Internet Security Suite

F-secure
Norton INternet Security
ZoneAlarm are reported to have blocked everything

the zone alram i have is ZoneAlarm version 5.5.062.004
TrueVector security engine version .5.062.004
Driver version 5.5.062.004

By itself? If you are a savvy user then I suppose it is, or if you have a cable/dsl router then it will be good enough to use in addition to the router. Check the URL I posted for more info.

I have Kerio PF 2.1.5 and it seems to work well enough.
 
on my laptop firewall is not enabled but it is behind the router with NAT. I would have firewall enabled only if I take my laptop outside of my place.
