Use the Vista firewall, without a doubt. I can't believe that people still use that ZoneAlarm POS.

The standard UI for the firewall is restrictive and may give you a foul taste in your mouth. But don't judge it until you've looked at Windows Firewall with Advanced Security. Bar none, the best application layer firewall for desktops to date.
