I'm looking in to building a new workstation for a SolidWorks user at my company. The AMD FirePro V4800 seems like a pretty good choice (benchmarks way better than the nVidia Quadro 2000) but I recently read of the FirePro V4900 replacing it.
Are these showing up in stock in places or is it going to be weeks before I can get my hands on one? I'd like to get the performance boost - even if it costs a little bit more. On the other hand, the extra cash to step up to the V5900 doesn't seem worth it.
