Hi guys,

I swapped over to Firefox a while back to get away from IE, but also because IE stopped loading my Gmail account.

Anyway, I have recently noticed that it uses a lot of CPU resources. I do a lot of Distributed computing and, using Vista, I have a nice sidebar app showing the CPU resources used. Firefox sometimes runs as high as 15% - while idle if you want to call it that. this obviously detracts from the DC stuff.

Any ideas what the problem may be and how to fix it? - if it is a problem.

Try flashblock. I bet you have a bunch of taps open with flash animations and they run your CPU up like nobody's business.

Where do I get it? What is it? A setting or a program. I think you may be right. Thanks.
