This one guy was telling me that firefox is unsafe and that I should use netscape. Is this true? I dont think so. Cna you guys explain this to me and tell me what si the safest

Could you also explain to me what makes firefox safer then others?

He may have been referring to the recent security alert detailed here. That's just a problem with the beta of 1.0 though and has been fixed.

FireFox is probably the most secure browser you can get under windows, unless you count a text based browser.
