Firefox won't launch

Error launching browser window:No XBL binding for browser.


I tried the fix but there is no Phoenix folder.

Uninstalling, deleting the program file folder and then reinstalling doesn't help.

Using XP w SP2
 
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<your profile>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<*.default folder>. Now rename the chrome directory to something like chrome backup. Relaunch Firefox and you should be good to go. 😉

P.S. Just make sure Firefox is closed before making any changes to the folder.
