Firefox won't launch

Error launching browser window:No XBL binding for browser.


I tried the fix but there is no Phoenix folder.

Uninstalling, deleting the program file folder and then reinstalling doesn't help.

Using XP w SP2

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<your profile>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<*.default folder>. Now rename the chrome directory to something like chrome backup. Relaunch Firefox and you should be good to go.

P.S. Just make sure Firefox is closed before making any changes to the folder.
