firefox won't detect installed quicktime player?

firefox 1.5 and quicktime 7 bundle with itune. it simply won't detect that its' installed. keeps on asking me to get the plugin.

Read fix for media problems if you have Adblock extension installed.

Also type [ aboutlugins ] in address bar to see if Firefox has found the Quicktime plugin.
