Most FF users already have adblock that gets rid of the ad banner normally above anyway.

Well I'm still using IE, but I do have ad blocking s/w installed so I didn't know notfred was blocking ads on the forums rh71

Streamlined forum screenshot.

If you prefer the streamlined look, you can get the streamlining script and the directions for installing it at my website.

The script's been updated. It now will remove any thread started by myjaja by default. The list of users whose threads are removed is configurable.

hahahah myjaja got owned :D

I'm a moron why doesn't greasemonkey auto install like other FF extensions?

Why do I have to download it first?

Instead of installing the script from the website, download it to your computer. Open in it in notepad, and change the line "var removeUserThreads = true;" to "var removeUserThreads = false;" Save, open in firefox, and install again. It'll automatically install over the original version, and all user's threads will be visible again.

It installed automatically for me when I did it.

Thanks, notfred, you are a lifesaver. Now if you could configure it to not display any thread with the word 'spider' in it my life would be complete. Great work!

Make a script that's like:

if postcount < 3000

then search (words in titles seperated by commas)

If there's any identical looking threads by those keywords, we'd have less reposts. =0þ

Watch the bar under your tabs, it comes up saying that FF has prevented the site from installing something to your computer. Just click on the Edit Options button that comes up and add the site to your allow list.

Very, very cool Notfred!!

To everyone else, if you need a goddamned SCRIPT to ignore a user you dont like, I seriously suggest you just unplug from the PC and hide in your room every day.
