I seem to get Firefox updates every day or two. It's annoying. Splash screens, restarts, messages about my add-ons compatibility status, etc. Is this controllable?

You can change some of it there. There may be others using the about:config page from inside FF.

Thanks. I changed it from Automatically install to "ask what you want to do." Then I can maybe install updates every 2 weeks or so instead of suffering the daily onslaught.
