Firefox, this silent browsing thing.....

After looking through the "options" catagory I was unable to find where a user assigns sounds for various actions or outcomes (like when an error occurs or a hyperlink is selected) I assume I need to download and install an extension. However, after reading through them, I am unable to locate any configuration tools to that effect. I am not talking about flash plug ins, they work.

So what am I missing?
 
Firefox doesn't have that "feature" because everybody but you finds it incredibly annoying. That's also the reason I doubt anyone will be developing an extension for it.
