Firefox tabbed browsing focus

Whenever I middle click on a link to open a new tab in Firefox the focus goes to that link. This happens at work. At home when I middle click the focus remains on the main page and allows the tabbed link to open kinda in the background. I've checked my setting but I can't see a difference. I want to have the focus stay with the main window that im opening links from. 😕

I can't find the setting either, but I know in Mozilla (not firefox) there was a setting to "open tabs in background". Which is what you want.

Anyway, have you installed the latest 0.9.2 version of Firefox? Maybe it'll help.

new version again eh? nope haven't installed it yet, funny think is that I have 0.9.1 on both machines.

0.9.2 is IDENTICAL to 0.9.1, except it disables shell: links to hide a security issue in Windows. You can get the same results by installing the shellblock XPI in 0.9.1.
