You can get IE7 from here ... it is exactly the same as from the MS Site
However, you do need SP2 installed for it to install and work properly

your system is definetly unstable if you crash like that. hardware/os problem, most likely shoddy hardware.

I have seen this happen with overclocked video cards etc.. in Vista,even with factory overclocked cards,actually happened with my 7800GT OC card,I reduced the factory overclock by 10Mhz and bingo no more crashes at all with Firefox or Vista(except in Stalker but that's a whole new story).

That's what I love about FF! I guess I'm not a big multitasker though... so...
