Firefox Stuttering?

Hacp

Some help with firefox stuttering? I heard it was due to random read/writes but I'm using an SSD and get 10mbs/20mbs read/writes on crystalmark 4ks. What could be the problem?

What addons do you have installed? Then again I fixed my firefox issues a long while ago. Took a while but they are fixed.

Well I use a SSD on one of my pcs but do not get stuttering anymore. I use to but I researched the problem for many months and finally fixed it. On my other pc without a SSD it does not stutter either.

Where are you when it stutters ?

It stutters anywhere on firefox. When I'm typing, when I'm watching video. It kinda really sucks lol. My read/writes 4k que depth 1 is 14/25 so I know it can't be the 4k read/writes. This happens mainly in firefox.

Turns out that it WAS the SSD fucking up, specifically the 4k random writes. Crystal mark said my 4k was 22mb/s but thats BS. I installed a program called flashpoint which puts the 4k on a 32mb ram buffer then transfers everything as 64k files and it is MUCH better. Fuck intel, it optimizes for crystalmark more than for real world performance.
