Firefox question from a noob

Hi all,

I can't figure out how to delete an item from a drop down menu. (Ex. Google search bar)

Using IE you just highlight the item and hit delete. If I do that on Firefox nothing happens. It just closes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

right-click on the area where the File, Edit, View, Go, etc tabs are in some empty space. click on customize. then just drag the google search bar to inside the box and its gone.
