Firefox Problems -- Slows to a Crawl after about 1 hour of usage?

It's possible that it may be the AVG Safe Search and AVG Security Toolbar causing the problem. At least they seem like good culprits. I've disabled them. Hopefully that solves the problem.

Yes. I noticed toolbars in firefox keep eatting memory until firefox crashes at 1.5 to 1.9 GB of ram usage.

I've been surfing for a few days now after having disabled the AVG toolbars and all is well! I am so glad I was able to fix this problem; it was so annoying.

Glad that fixed it for you. The thing is this should not cause a problem. Plan on trying to text and see if the same thing happens with Internet Explorer sense there no other browser I know of that you can run these kind of things in. I really want to use them.
