Firefox OS looks genuinely interesting

The biggest selling point is that all apps are HTML5. Should make it very accessible to developers. Hope it catches on.

My main concern is performance. I suspect there is going to be major lagginess compared to the competition.

Many apps on Android and iOS are already HTML5. HTML5 allows you to create an app that can be used on both iOS and Android.

A simulator that runs from the Firefox browser. Don't know how it works in Windows, but in Debian it spawns a small cellphone sized window.
