Looks like they're finally starting to implement "bookmarks" on the new tab page. So far I don't see a way to add to the page. Mine just started with a handful of pages I recently used. Here's a pic FWIW. This is 13.0a1...

How do you get all the addons to work on the later builds like 13? or do you not really care about the addons?

Main ones I am concerned about are:

Sun Java Console (comes with Java Runtime Environment)
Ad-Block Plus
IETAB2
XMARKS
LastPass

You can use the developer tool addon, or the addon compatibility reporter addon. As I understand it, addons are now presumed to work, and will unless they don't :^D

I don't remember when they switched. I've had compatibility checking turned off for a long time. Btw, unless you're doing Java work(as a developer), you don't need the Java console.

I always thought that some websites that rely on JAVA wouldn't work unless you have the Java Runtime Environment installed on your computer? Please correct me if I'm wrong. :whiste:

I know a site where if you don't have Java Installed you wouldn't be able to drag / drop files in their sites (it is a file sharing website)

Don't take this as canonical, but this is how I understand it...

Javascript, and Java Runtime Environment(JRE) are different things. You're more likely to run into javascript on websites. JRE is the virtual machine that runs Java code, and is independent of the browser. The console addon is for debugging Java code(not javascript), and wouldn't be used by typical users.
