Firefox issue? Or is this an XP Pro issue?

I use Firefox 3.x and was offered to remember my login for a site I say "yes." Is this done by Firefox or XP Pro?

I just changed the password for one of my favorite sites and next time I went to the site the login info offered included the old password. I was rejected, of course. So I typed in my new password and was let into the site. But next time I went to login, the old password was again offered. How can I get the new password to be offered?

password saving is done by Firefox in this case

to delete the old password, go to
Tools > Options > Security tab > Saved Passwords

Thanks. I just went there and saw that it already has the new password! Don't know why it didn't before.

Is there a way to export your saved passwords for when you reinstall your OS?

use the FEBE firefox extension, it lets you backup virtually everything of your firefox browser, personally though i use the portable version by portableapps so i dont need to backup anything incase i need to reinstall my os and i have my browser everywhere.
